If you're looking for the best contact lens solutions for your vision, Goldnes Optometrists can help. Our team of optometrists has extensive training in finding the right contact lenses for various eye conditions. To schedule a comprehensive contact lens exam, you can request an appointment online or call us.

During your contact lens exam, we evaluate your overall eye health, check your vision, We may also order custom contact lenses to improve your vision and eye color. We'll send you a temporary set of contact lenses for you to try for a few days. Then, if the lenses work for you, we can order a full set.

We offer different types of contact lenses, including:

Soft contact lenses are made of a soft, flexible plastic material that allows for optimal oxygen flow to the cornea. They are the most common type of contact lenses available and come in different types of wearing schedules, such as daily, weekly, or monthly disposables, depending on the wearer's needs.

Gas permeable contact lenses are made of a firm, durable plastic material that allows oxygen to pass through to the cornea. They are more resistant to deposit buildup compared to soft contact lenses, making them a good option for people with certain eye conditions such as keratoconus or giant papillary conjunctivitis (GPC). They are also available in multifocal designs for presbyopia correction. However, some people may take longer to adapt to gas permeable lenses due to their rigid nature.

Extended Wear Contacts: If your eyes are generally healthy, allow you to wear your contacts continuously or overnight for several days or weeks at a time,

Orthokeratology Lenses: gradually change the curvature of your corneas while correcting your vision. These are primarily used for myopia (nearsightedness).
